Mission

Women’s Fire Alliance (WFA) supports and empowers women in all aspects of fire service by promoting an equitable work environment.

Purpose

WFA is created and overseen by a coalition of experts in fire service (both sworn and civilian) that focus on fire and gender issues in local government. WFA proactively addresses issues, advocates and supports women in fire service, community groups, and local government at all levels and assists in the growth of social and industrial equity in the fire service.
