Mission

Rising Up Media is a women-run multimedia project that seeks to create news broadcasts for radio, television and online platforms with an accompanying multi-media website and social media component. Our goal is to educate and activate the public on issues of social, economic, and environmental justice.

Purpose

Through traditional radio and print, web-based video and audio podcasts, and speaking events, Rising Up Media seeks to educate the public on the most pressing issues of our day, providing the historical context and avenues for action often missing in mainstream, corporate media.
