Mission
The mission of the National Working Positive Coalition is to facilitate systems change so people living with or at greater vulnerability to HIV can consider, access, and participate in work aligned with self‐determined goals.
Purpose
NWPC envisions a just world where people living with or at greater vulnerability to HIV can participate equitably and meaningfully in life. In service to this vision, NPWC leverages its unique expertise and experience at the intersections of HIV and employment services to disrupt long‐established patterns of ignoring poverty and unemployment in HIV care, programs, and policies by strengthening our country’s responses to the employment needs of people living with or at greater vulnerability to HIV through training and technical assistance, research, and policy and advocacy.
