To inspire and empower Latinas to pursue and thrive in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) fields.
Purpose
Our primary purpose is to spread awareness about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and to inspire and encourage young Latinas, especially within underserved communities, to strongly consider pursuing a STEM career. We aim to not only educate students, but most importantly their parents, so that they may be better positioned to support their daughters along this challenging journey. Our secondary purpose is to help Latinas in STEM thrive in their college and professional careers through mentorship, networking and recognition.
Our goals are to:
- Inspire young women to consider STEM careers
- Increase the number of Latina women pursuing STEM careers
- Create a network that helps women in STEM thrive
