Mission
Building on ancient traditions of self-help, KMG works with communities in Ethiopia as agents of historical change to eliminate harmful customary practices against women and other marginalized groups. KMG’s integrated programs compliment each other, turning the cycle of suppression and oppression into a positive cycle of empowerment and active citizenship.
Purpose
KMG organizes communities to create a society in which women are free from all forms of discrimination and violence, and in which the whole personhood, values and rights of women are recognized.
