Mission

The Kindred Collective’s Organizational Mission is to intervene, interrupt and transform generational trauma and violence in our southern communities and movements.

Purpose

We are a collective of anti-oppression grassroots healers and birth workers, grassroots medical practitioners, social workers, nurses, counselors, cultural workers and organizers who are based in the South. Through developing synergies of activism, organizing and healing across generations and cultures, and generating grassroots solutions to the issues we face, we build vital spaces for strengthening our movement. We want to share information, resources, strategies, and commitments to move our health, and healing practices in a process that deepens and broadens the movement building work to which we are all committed.
