Mission

The Friends of the Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge is committed to community stewardship of the Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge through preservation, restoration and education.

Purpose

To provide assistance to the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the U. S. Navy in the management of the Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge through funding, organizing and conducting various restoration and cleanup projects within the Refuge. These projects will provide an opportunity for individuals and businesses to participate in the enhancement and restoration of the Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge to support the endangered species that reside on the Refuge. Simply stated, this provides a chance for the community to “Think Globally and Act Locally.”
