Mission

EIP exists to close the wealth gap and create generational wealth for enterprises in communities previously left behind by increasing their participation in building and maintaining the nation’s infrastructure.

Purpose

The Equity in Infrastructure Project (EIP) seeks to establish the framework to create generational wealth in communities previously left behind by increasing participation of small and minority owned businesses in the infrastructure realm of the economy. We intend to accomplish this by working primarily with “owners” of infrastructure assets that control capital budgets, in this case local and regional agencies across the nation. The agencies contract with enterprises. Using this fulcrum, we can collaborate with and encourage the federal government to learn from and with the agencies to in turn remove obstacles and help encourage improved contracting practices. We intend to change the policies and operating procedures to build generational wealth for target populations and enterprises that will be permanent because they begin locally and are not top down.
