Mission

The Community Response Network 206 (CRN 206) is devoted to meeting the care needs of all members in community particularly those who have been harmed by and neglected by state systems.

Purpose

Our communities include but are not limited to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, Trans people, disabled people, LGBTQIA+, immigrants and refugees, poor, formerly incarcerated, and other vulnerable people. We center our values on liberation, sovereignty, and justice for the most unprotected people. As most of the communities we represent have become accustomed to a culture of harm, it is very important to us that everything we do comes from a place of compassion. We understand that while we are often not seen this way, we are worth nurturing. We see each community member’s experiences as valuable expertise in our goal to show love for each other through our actions. This is how we bring our vision of a better world to fruition.
