Mission

We aim to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Portuguese Podencos, an ancient breed of sighthounds raised for hunting in Portugal which are terribly abused, neglected and abandoned.

Purpose

To establish a specialized Portuguese Podenco Center in Portugal, where rescued podencos would be prepared for adoption in the USA in partnership with Sighthound Rescue Associations. We have already initiated a partnership with MotorCity Greyhound Rescue in Detroit, Michigan.
