Mission

The mission of Academies for Social Entrepreneurship is to help to create and sustain businesses that use the market to meet educational, health, environmental and other social needs.

Purpose

Drawing on proven practices from business schools and angel venture funding networks, ASE guides social entrepreneurs through the development of their venture. The goal is a thriving social enterprise that will help them to more effectively meet social needs and generate income. To date, our unique combination of training, mentoring and “fast pitch” competitions has expanded capacity for over 200 non-profit organizations, catalyzing over 8 million of dollars in new revenue for strategic, innovative charitable ventures. 65% of the executives that have been coached in business planning are generating new revenue within a year of participating. 94% considered their participation extremely valuable and say that it has altered the way they do business.
