EXECUTIVE AND LEADERSHIP
Jennifer Hoffman
Chief Executive Officer
Jennifer Hoffman is the Chief Executive Officer of Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs. Jennifer joined SEE in 2003 and after eight years was promoted to Managing Director, then Executive Director from 2011 to 2021 when she was named CEO. Over Jennifer’s time in leadership roles, she has supported and overseen the growth of the organization not only in projects sponsored but also in the expansion of internal support offered to projects. SEE’s current budget for 2025 is anticipated to surpass $100M in revenue. Jennifer’s two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector, specifically in managing fiscal sponsorship programs, have enabled SEE to expand support to project partners and create networks with peer organizations, funders, and coalitions. In 2012 she and a peer co-founded the Southern California Fiscal Sponsor Network creating a resource-sharing and collaborative space for fiscal sponsors, which was replicated in other regions. SEE launched a social enterprise titled Accountability to support the establishment of infrastructure for former fiscally sponsored projects. Jennifer studied Biological Science at Florida Institute of Technology and holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Harvard University.
Trevis Bird
Chief Operating Officer
Trevis joined SEE in October 2018 with over a decade of operations, event, and marketing management experience. As Chief Operating Officer at SEE, he oversees the organization’s daily operations, supports the Chief Executive Officer, facilitates programs, and ensures effective communication with projects. Trevis has an established history of successfully organizing and executing hundreds of community and informational events that have engaged hundreds of thousands of attendees and raised critical funds for nonprofits. He is committed to leveraging his expertise and extensive experience to fulfill SEE’s mission and create a meaningful impact. Trevis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications from Ball State University.
Anna Zaricki
Chief Financial Officer
Anna joins SEE with over 20 years of finance and accounting experience focused on providing strategic direction, ensuring fiscal integrity, and driving growth in organizations. She is passionate about helping people and being part of an organization that is making a difference by empowering, encouraging, and facilitating a positive impact in the nonprofit sector. Anna supports the Chief Executive Officer, works closely with the Chief Operating Officer, and is responsible for leading the financial initiatives for SEE. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University with degrees in Finance and Economics, as well as earning an MBA in Finance and Information Systems.
Amber Segovia
Director of Operations
Amber brings over 15 years of experience in customer service and sales management from the remanufacturing industry. As the Director of Operations, Amber oversees all organizational activities, ensuring the seamless execution of daily operations and the highest quality of care and support. She serves as the primary point of contact for all projects and supporters of SEE, playing a pivotal role in driving the organization’s success. She is immensely proud to lead operations at SEE and to deliver personalized support to SEE’s project partners.
Joe Zymblosky
Chief of Staff
Joe rejoins SEE with over 12 years of finance and accounting experience and was the SEE Finance Manager from 2012-2014. He focuses on nonprofit compliance, fiscal integrity, reconciliations, audits, financial reporting, and staff analytics in fiscal sponsorship organizations. Joe is dedicated to nonprofit work and is excited to be part of an organization so active in making a difference in the nonprofit sector. He supports the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for leading staff and organizational initiatives for SEE. He graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in International Management and Operations.
ACCOUNTING
Christine Fabian
Controller
Christine brings over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting to SEE, with a strong background in both corporate and nonprofit sectors. As Controller, she plays a critical role in supporting the Chief Financial Officer, overseeing general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll reporting, audit processes, and treasury functions. Christine has extensive expertise in audit and fiscal review, ensuring financial integrity and compliance within the organization. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Alberto Rodriguez
Finance Supervisor
Alberto rejoins SEE with over eight years of experience in finance and accounting. His expertise spans managerial, corporate, and nonprofit accounting, as well as financial analysis and reporting. At SEE, Alberto plays a vital role in supporting the Chief Financial Officer. His responsibilities include collaborating with projects on financial reports, budget tracking, grant reporting, and continuous monitoring to ensure compliance with the financial requirements of funders and grant agreements. Alberto earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Kansas Wesleyan University and a Master of Arts degree in Music Industry Administration from California State University, Northridge.
Marquis Siner
Senior Financial Analyst
Marquis specializes in accounts receivables, including managing digital donation platforms that streamline the process of charitable contributions. With almost a decade of accounting experience across various industries, he has established a proven track record of consistently meeting deadlines while delivering high-quality work. Marquis is known for his approachable nature and willingness to support team goals, making him a valued member of the organization. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Niagara University and has earned certifications in Fundamentals of Management, Growing Great Writers, and multiple supervisory programs.
Alex Montiel
Financial Analyst
Alex is a Financial Analyst with seven years of professional experience in accounting. Before joining SEE, he managed business and personal entities for high-net-worth entertainers, gaining exceptional expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, budget preparation, and financial report analysis. At SEE, Alex plays a key role in onboarding new project partners and leads training on the organization’s accounting system. He is passionate about collaborating with and empowering projects to create progressive change within their communities. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Kansas Wesleyan University.
Justine MacRae
AR/AP Accountant
Justine brings over a decade of experience in customer service, sales management, and office administration, primarily in the remanufacturing industry. She has a longstanding commitment to supporting charitable endeavors that improve the well-being of communities and as a result, she is proud to serve the projects at SEE. As the AR/AP Accountant in SEE’s Accounting Department, Justine takes pride in delivering top-tier customer service while collaborating closely with SEE’s projects. She holds an Associate’s degree in Accounting and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at the University of Phoenix.
Miranda Kennally
AR/AP Accountant
Miranda joins SEE with over eight years of accounting experience. Her expertise is in audit, compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Before specializing in accounting, Miranda worked in the insurance industry for over 12 years providing excellent customer service and support. She attended the University of Alaska. Miranda is proud to join SEE and contribute to the success of its project partners.

Ashley Starr
Office Manager
Ashley is a detail-oriented administrative coordinator who has been working in the field for over 13 years. She is familiar working in a fast-paced environment with exceptional attention to customer relations, having worked for the mass media company NBCUniversal. Ashley has received accolades for her previous work including a reward for Employee of the Year. Ashley provides the SEE team with her skills in coordinating, organizing, and planning. She has a degree in Social and Behavioral Science from Pierce College in Los Angeles, California.
Monica Ramirez
Administrative Coordinator
Monica joined SEE in 2023 and has over 10 years of experience providing comprehensive customer service support and managing a wide range of responsibilities across multiple departments. She is a highly organized and detail-oriented administrative professional. She is valued for her adaptability, problem-solving skills, and proactive approach to tackling challenges. Monica is committed to fostering collaboration with SEE’s projects and contributing to the success of SEE’s mission.
Hailey Choate
Administrative Coordinator
Hailey has great experience with customer service and communication. Her primary role at SEE is focused on donation management while also assisting in various administrative tasks. Hailey’s interest and pursuit of an education in STEM has proven to be a great match in supporting the various SEE project partners that use science to solve local and global issues. Hailey received an education at Harkness Career and Technical Center in Cheektowaga, New York, and a degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Services University in Boston.

Monique Gutierrez
Senior Human Resources Director
Monique is a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Executive and leader with over a decade of experience in the field. She has great expertise in strategic organizational development and enjoys working as a business partner. Monique is passionate about career development and greatly enjoys empowering people to achieve their goals. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fresno Pacific University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis on organizational leadership and development. Monique also holds a Professional Human Resources Certification.
Janet Platfoot
Payroll and Benefits Director
Janet joins the SEE team with over 30 years of human resource experience. With her knowledge and focus on innovation, she will serve as the point of contact for all payroll and benefits matters. Janet has a long history of working as a human resources manager for non-profit entities. She is very passionate about working on projects with a philanthropic mission and looks forward to helping SEE employees and project partners. Janet received her Certified Payroll Professional certificate from the American Payroll Association, which she has been a member of since 1993.
Jill Johnson
Senior Benefits Associate
Jill brings over 30 years of Human Resources experience to SEE with a specialized focus on benefits administration. She has worked with various high-tech companies and spent 14 years in the nonprofit sector. Jill’s comprehensive knowledge of benefits and her dedication to providing outstanding internal support to SEE employees and project partners are integral to SEE’s mission. Her expertise is essential in supporting the organization’s goals and empowering projects to create meaningful change. Jill holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and has been certified as a Society of Human Resources Management Professional (SHRM-CP) since 2014.
Lisa McClain-Darrough
Senior Human Resources Generalist
Lisa joined the SEE team in 2024 with over 14 years of Human Resources experience. She is a dedicated, highly adaptable, and results-oriented professional with a comprehensive understanding of and managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws. Her interpersonal skills allow her to build positive relationships with employees on all levels, effectively addressing concerns and promoting a positive work environment. She enjoys working closely with diverse teams and community partners to assist them in achieving their goals. She graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the Craig School of Business.
Ashley 'Ash' Quinn
Human Resources Generalist
Ashley joins SEE with over nine years of Training and Development, Operations and Human Resources experience. She is passionate about making a meaningful difference by supporting non-profit organizations. Ashley graduated from Western Governor’s University with a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources, alongside a minor in Psychology and Behavioral Sciences.
Taylor Bayless
Contract Administrator
Taylor joined SEE in 2023 as a Contract Administrator, bringing with her over five years of grant experience. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration with a focus on Public Health and Non-Profits, obtained from Indiana State University. Before joining SEE, Taylor served as a Research Administrator at the University of Florida, where she oversaw grants and contracts in the Center for NeuroGenetics. Taylor is enthusiastic about contributing her skills to the SEE team and is excited to be part of the impactful work SEE provides to its project partners.
COMMUNICATIONS
Clarise Compton
Communications Associate
Clarise is an effective communicator and storyteller with nearly a decade of experience in nonprofit marketing and management. She leverages her expertise in writing and organizational branding to champion causes centered on social justice and environmental protection, values that align deeply with SEE’s mission. As the primary writer, she ensures a consistent organizational voice and provides key support to the executive team and other departments. Clarise earned her Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, where she cultivated her passion for connecting people through meaningful stories and purposeful communication.
Brittany Choate
EPA Grant Program Manager
Brittany joins SEE with a background in environmental consulting in remediation and has experience in project management, project coordination, quality assurance procedures, and environmental sampling. She also worked in the vehicle manufacturing industry for nine years, managing union members on the product lines. Brittany holds a degree in Environmental Engineering and graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is proud to join SEE’s team and contribute to the success of the EPA Grant Program.
Paul Fanning
IT & Security Specialist
Paul is an experienced IT professional with over 25 years in information security, systems administration, network operations, and computer programming. He holds a Master of Science in Information Security and Assurance from Norwich University and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification with (ISC)². He has additional training in securing artificial intelligence systems. Paul is pleased to use his specialized skills to support social and environmental justice.
