Staff Members

Jennifer Hoffman

Executive Director

Jennifer has led SEE through 15 years of organizational growth and development. Jennifer’s position working directly with programs from inception to more mature stages has provided her with a unique perspective on effective growth and impacts of non-profits. Jennifer has served on the board and advisory committees for efforts relating to human rights and environmental conservation. Most recently, she launched a social enterprise program within SEE titled Accountability which offers administrative and financial services to independent non-profit entities. Jennifer is the co-founder of the Southern California Fiscal Sponsors Network, a regional group that meets quarterly to discuss the unique aspects of fiscal sponsorship. Jennifer attended the Florida Institute of Technology and holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Harvard University.

Trevis Bird

Managing Director

Trevis joins SEE with over 12 years of operations, event and marketing management experience most recently at CBS Radio and Entercom. He has produced hundreds of community and informational events driven to help promote and fundraise for nonprofits with hundreds of thousands attendees. Trevis is passionate to work with the nonprofit sector and apply his experience for the greater good. Trevis supports the Executive Director, manages the daily operations, facilitates programs and communicates with projects. He graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications.

Janneyra Verduzco

Finance Manager

Janneyra joined SEE’s accounting team in February 2018 and has over 20 years of accounting experience. She manages SEE’s weekly accounts receivable and payable process, provides technical training and assistance to projects in budget development and oversees project account balances. Janneyra leads the annual project budget process and annual filings and audit for the organization. At SEE she is a point of contact for SEE’s Spanish services. Janneyra graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. Janneyra continues to further her knowledge by preparing for the CPA exam.

Alberto Rodriguez

Accounting Associate

Alberto has over five years of accounting experience. Most recently, he worked for Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group and PARR3 where he financially managed business/personal entities and financial affairs for high net worth entertainers. Alberto’s background includes corporate and nonprofit accounting as well. At SEE he supports the Finance Manager with day-to-day operations, he assists in processing weekly accounts payable and receivable and provides project financial statements. He graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and also holds a Master of Arts degree in Music Industry Administration from California State University, Northridge.

Amber Segovia

Office Coordinator

Amber brings over 15 years of experience in customer service and sales management from the remanufacturing industry. Amber serves as the primary point of contact for all projects and supporters of SEE. Additionally, she is the lead source for administrative support to the Executive Director and the organization in general. Amber is very proud to be working with SEE and providing excellent customer support to SEE’s projects.

Maribel Garcia

Administrative Coordinator

Maribel coordinates office administration duties through assisting with accounts payable, support functions of the operation staff and communicates directly with projects to ensure their needs are fulfilled in a timely manner. Before joining SEE, Maribel worked in customer service and office administration for more than 14 years. Additionally, she is a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Justine MacRae

Administrative Coordinator

Justine was a 911 dispatcher for two years and has over 10 years of experience in customer service, sales management and office administration from the remanufacturing industry. Justine assists in the accounting department and helps with office administration duties. Justine is excited to work at SEE because she has always wanted to help people. She enjoys working closely with SEE’s projects to provide great customer service.

Jamie Marcos

Human Resources Administrator

Jamie joins the SEE team with many years of experience in human resources, employee benefits and financial services industries. Jamie is the main point of contact at SEE in the areas of payroll and benefits. She has a business degree from Oakland Community College and is a licensed insurance producer. Jamie is happy to be a part of the SEE in support of our partner projects that help to make the world a better place in which to raise her two young daughters.

Sean McWethy

Human Resources Associate

Sean is a management and human resource administration professional who has been working in the field for over 10 years. Sean’s experience in human resource’s includes full cycle recruiting, employee benefits, worker’s compensation, and guidance on employee policies and procedures. His background is in the manufacturing and restaurant industries, most recently a granite countertop company which utilized a GO Green recycling system to help protect the environment. Sean graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

Sara Ebrahimi

Communications Associate

Sara has over 10 years of experience working in the nonprofit and government fields, with a background in public relations, marketing and development. Most recently, she worked for the City of Los Angeles Department of Animal Services and Best Friend Animal Society where she helped create campaigns to promote pet adoption and spaying/neutering. Sara is responsible for on-going communications related to project activities and special projects for the organization. She maintains the SEE website, social media sites and marketing collateral. Sara is excited to be part of SEE and provide support to the remarkable projects invested in making a difference in the world. She graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science in Communications.

Karen Tiffany

Operations Associate

Karen has been working in management and office support roles for more than 30 years. At SEE she drives operational efficiencies and provides support services to ensure project needs are fulfilled. Karen assists the Human Resources department in the day-to-day operations as well as health insurance registrations of SEE employees and projects. Karen has a B.S. from The University of Phoenix in Management. She is very proud to be at SEE and working with such inspiring leaders and activists.

Brandon Alvarado

Operations Associate

Brandon brings significant finance and accounting experience to his role at SEE in supporting functions of the operations staff on a part-time basis. He has worked in financial management at banks and investment firms in addition to working in the non-profit sector. Brandon provides support for SEE’s Spanish services. Brandon holds a B.S. in Global Studies from the University of California Santa Barbara and an Associate degree in Accounting from College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita.
