Mission

Michael S. Rosenbaum was an award-winning journalist in a career that spanned over 40 years, including a 27-year career as a news producer for CBS News where he produced stories for all of the News division’s broadcasts. He died of a brain tumor in May 2012 at the age of 64. The mission of the Michael S. Rosenbaum Foundation is to honor Michael’s legacy, his extraordinary professional accomplishments and commitment to mentoring young, journalistic talent.

We are a bicycle collective that promotes and supports cycling as a sustainable, healthy, and fun method of transportation in the San Fernando Valley.  We put on community bike rides, events, and mobile DIY bike repair clinics to teach essential skills like bicycle maintenance and how to ride safely with traffic.  We work to make bicycling more accessible and safe, and to create a supportive and empowered cycling community.
