Lonely Whale Foundation
Dedicated to bringing people closer to the world's oceans through education and awareness, inspiring empathy and action for ocean health and the well being of marine wildlife.
LWF was inspired by the touching story of an enigmatic whale that has spent its entire life in solitude calling out at a different frequency from other whales. Just as Smokey the Bear serves as an accessible mascot to educate the public about wildfire prevention, the Lonely Whale character, and foundation, will serve as an accessible home for ocean health awareness through collaborative, global efforts and accessible conversation.
Lonely Whale Foundation was founded by actor, filmmaker and social advocate Adrian Grenier; Producer Lucy Cooper; and Director Joshua Zeman of 52: The Search for the Loneliest Whale.
